Best Dinner Date Spots On Oahu

When living on an island sometimes it's hard to come up with a new idea on where to head for your next dinner date. Honolulu has added an array of new restaurants with all new experiences and food styles for you to try! Here is our list of fun and exciting new places to try. If you don't have these on your list, make sure to add them!

Michel's at the colony surf

The ultimate splurge

Michel's is a hidden gem on the south shore of Honolulu. If you love a good sunset, it doesn't get much better than this. Book one of their hard to get 5 pm seatings and be amazed by the golden sunset while they serve you table side drinks and food. The service here is unbelievable. This is a real treat and worth the pretty penny it costs to be served lobster bisque, seafood and steak, while you're basically sitting on the beach.

Doraku

Never Fails to Impress

You can never go wrong with a dinner at Doraku. At a reasonable price point for Sushi and amazing cocktails, this menu is filled with options for everyone. Graze on sashimi and sip on a lychee martini all while in the beautiful pacific asian inspired decor and romantic lighting. Both locations are great so you have a choice between Waikiki or Ward. You may need to wait a bit for a table so make sure to get in line earlier than later. Or even better, opt to show up early for their Happy Hour Menu!

Rigo

Two cuisines all at once!
There is no where like Rigo on our islands! With its fun and playful decor comes its fun and exciting menu. From crostinis with papaya and prosciutto to their clam liguine, this menu has a lot of fun sharable items so that you can try them all! A fun menu and a lively atmosphere it truly makes you feel as though you're on vacation in Europe!

Dukes

The classic that never gets old

We love a great seaside dinner at the best in the game, Dukes in Waikiki. Another perfect sunset dinner location with the true Hawaiian Spirit in the air. Go for the bar side if you want a more casual menu to share, or reserve a table on the dining side to get some of their Herb Crusted Mahi Mahi or signature steak dishes. Dukes will never steer you wrong for any occasion. And there's Hula Pie to end the night!

Miro

Not just a dinner. An experience.

Talk about bucket lists. Miro is one of those dining experiences you need to try at least once, although you may be hooked considering they change their menu monthly. Something about this place makes you feel as though you are worth a million dollars. Fair warning though, this menu is for those who dare to try some of the most exquisite foods paired in unpredictable ways. To enjoy this prefix menu you must be willing to enjoy the ride as servers come by dish by dish and explain the story behind each item. Shockingly good and super exciting!

Jinya

New and Fun Ramen and Sushi

Need a new ramen or sushi spot on your agenda? We have it for you. Check out Jinya Ramen, Robata Jinya and the Jinya outdoor bar. With 3 restaurants all attached you have all the options in front of you. Dress up to match this beautiful Japanese ambiance! Try a lychee martini, there's a surprise! Ramen flavors are delicious, even the creamy vegan one!
